The End (For Real)...

...of Kurokami.

Hey. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've had a few troubles recently, the culmination of which has led to my decision to drop Kurokami. First, my computer died. Well, my hard drive burned itself out and my motherboard decided it didn't like me anymore, so I have been without a PC for a few weeks. Next, well, I'm heading into the final stretch of the semester. After Spring Break, all my professors will be rearing up for finals, which means more homework/studying and less free time.

As much as I enjoyed working on the series, I don't really have the means or the time to keep going.

Revival

As it turns out, we're not being deprived of Kurokami's dub anymore. Cornbreadman released his encodes of episodes five through seven earlier today, and I'm already on my way to getting them synchronized with the HD raws.

Unfortunately, it seems the iaTV airings no longer include subtitles for the episode names, so I'm having to use the names already translated by other groups. This, of course, puts me in a predicament, because episode seven hasn't been translated yet, so I don't have the title from the preview. If, by some chance, someone reading this is willing to translate the title for me, I'd appreciate it.

The three episodes will be up as soon as they're ready.

I know I haven't done much, but it looks like I might not have anything more to do. According to this, iaTV screwed up the schedule and re-aired episode four last week. Cornbreadman, the one capping the episodes for all of us, and my only source for the English audio track, following logic I personally don't understand, has more than likely ceased his work. This is only conjecture at the moment, but for lack of any other word it seems likely. As a result of this, there is nothing more I can do.

If anyone's reading this, I hope you continue watching Kurokami and enjoy it as much as I do, even without the dub.

Somehow, the font I chose for the episode titles wound up being 15 MB, so I'll probably change that for the next episode.
